Synergy’s staff must
meet strict requirements. Specialists are required to have at least a
degree in Range Science or a closely related field. Additionally,
specialists attend professional meetings and courses designed to expand
their knowledge and improve their performance. True to our name, we use
our education and experience to create Synergy between your operation and
ours, allowing us to accomplish more together than either of us could
accomplish alone.

RESOURCE TECHNICIANS: NICOLE K. HANSEN RESOURCE TECHNICIAN Young
and enthusiastic, Nicole brings excellent field monitoring, plant identification,
and GIS skills to your project. This South Dakota State
University graduate has her B.S. in Range Science with a minor in Botany,
and is working toward her M.S. in Range Science with a GIS minor at New
Mexico State University. She has several publications on monitoring and assessment from her
research in South Dakota and New Mexico. Her experience in New Mexico involved GIS and field
characterization of soil profiles and plant communities and studying
vegetation community change due to sand movement and mesquite encroachment
in the northern Chihuahuan Desert. Nicole has several field seasons of data collection and analysis experience, including: - Monitoring and study design, field data collection, and data analysis
- GIS analysis, mapping, and field reconnaissance
- Plant identification
and collection of herbarium specimens
